Today the handyman had to work on his own.

I’ve been stuck on the couch with a terrible back ache.

It’s not funny at all!

I’m a very active person so it’s not easy for me to be still for a whole day….

But there was no choise today…. can’t even walk.

Anyway, the roof is now waterproof wich is lycky because the rain shows no mercy!

Next week we’ll finish it…

There’s no picture today because I can’t walk out there to get one….

Hold your thubs that I’ll be better tomorrow so I can rock with the band….

A beer tent is waiting for us.

The roof trusses are there!

And the waterlevel says 90.00, oo.00, and 32.00 degrees! Just as planned!

We also nailed the roof today! I made five planks before my back got stuck in a foutyfive degrees position…

The rest of the the day I spent with hot pillows and different kind of pills…

Tonight I’m trying the wine cure….

I’m afraid this will take a while….

Day twentytwo I worked on my own.

I fixed the terrace floor.

Day twentythree we placed the corner pillars for the roof…

– What does the water level say?

– Let me see….. The angle is 90.00 degrees…

– Can we do it better?

– Well… I don’t think so….

– So, it’s good enough then?

– I think is has to be…

– ok. Screw!

Then we had to build something to walk on, rising the roof trusses….

Walking slowly today.

Feeling that I’ve been hit by a truck or something..

No work on the house today either.

Instead I took of all the glass from the greenhouse.

I have to move it because half of it stands in my neighburs garden and they just sold their house…

I don’t want to give half the greenhouse away to the new owners…

I now have to dig and make a new foundation…

Yes! There are things to do here…

Tomorrow I’ll go shopping again. About 70 meters 120 floorboards for the terrace….

… now I enjoy the lazy evening on the couch….

No working today!

Gigtime with the coverband No Jive.

We played at a party in the archipelago of Stockholm.

It was raining constantly so at the beginning of the night there was just a few people in the audience.

But after an hour that changed…

At 01.00 when we stoped play the place was totally crowded and I could hardly hear myself singing “Highway to hell”.

We played some extra songs and nearly missed the ferry…

When I got hom the poor cat met me, wet and cold…

We went to sleep after a nice glass of red wine at 4.30…

The Handyman worked with the left today…

He’s now ready inside, the rest is up to me…:I

Today we spent the day constucting the joists for the terrace.

It’s perfectly done! Steady as a rock!

I’ll try to fix the floor by myself and on tuesady we’ll start again with the roof.

But tomorrow is a day off. Gignight with the coverband No Jive.

An open party in the archipelago.

Today the handyman was a little bit to handy…

Today he put his handy hand right into the sawing machine….

He went pail as a true rockstar and the blood was … no I don’t have to tell you.

I drove him to the hospital cause the wound had to be stitched.

But before that we moved the door and put the windows in place so

” Hokus Pokus” my house went some square meters bigger!

It’s beginning to feel really good now….

A lot of work left of course….

First round with the inner walls and floor finished.

The roof is now insulated and I’ve got glass fibers itching my skin…

Had to buy more things…

The budget is already exceeded….

Can’t see the end of this….

Work, work, work….!

The first part of the outside walls finished…

We went inside, isolation, electric installation and inner walls…

I could never imagine how much work it is to build something that small….

I learn so much working beside ” Bengt The  Handyman”…

I think I’ll be a carpenter in my next life.

…I’m soon running out of money so now we start planning for the work I can do on my own…

But still I can afford some more days….

And…. I told you my owen went crazy on saturdays party…

Today the repairman told me – earliest on friday….

So, the barbeques continue….

Most of the day we spent on measuring, counting and shopping…

When I grabbed the hammer at last I discovered that my wrist wasn’t in a good condition…

We worked with the outside walls today and then we rushed away to the rehearsal with the band…

The bills are comming in and I realise that this houseproject is not a low budget production…

It’s going to ruin me…. But it’s perfectly done, I tell you!
