The gigs the last weekend went very well.

The stand in drummer was really good!

We played a half song as a test and then we rocked the nights.

After the last song on Saturday we went to my place for “the after party”.

A new song took place -Sancta Tequila, is our new favorite.

At eight o’clock in the morning I heard the cats fighting in the basement.

I went down to stop it and forgot about the ice…

I fell in the stairs and hurt my tailbone very bad…

(No I wasn’t drunk… not that drunk…)

Today it’ s Tuesday and I’ve been lying on the sofa since the accident.

I think I broke something…

Tomorrow I’ll play again with No Jive . I look forward to it. I like the stage a lot. It’s the only place where I feel really comfortable. This weekend our drummer can’t be with us. We have a stand in for him but no time for rehearsal… We’ll just go on stage and hope for the best! Times like this shows if we’re proffesionals or not. It’ll be interesting. I’m not afraid!

–          I have a stomachache I said.

–          You are overstrained, my colleague said.

–          Me? No I’m not.

–          You have a lot of things to do, haven’t you….

He looked at me with a compassionately smile.

–          …Yees…

–          You are overstrained. That’s it!

I thought about that for a second and realized he’s right.

I have a stomachache.

I spotted the psycologist by the coffe machine the other day.

-Please help me, I screamed.

She asked if I needed help with my computer and I told her, No I just need to talk to someone…

She smiled at me, layed her hand on my shoulder and said, everything’s going to be allright…

Then she left the room…

I have a stomachache.

YES!

We had the perfect sound yesterday! That made us very tight!

I love my guitar. I feel I can trust him. He can be soft and warm or rough and evil.

So many different sounds depending on how my fingers touch him.

I was wearing my glitter converse and discovered how important the choice of shoes are for the way I preform on stage… In these shoes I had a good grip to the floor and felt comfortable in the moves. No more high heels on stage for me!

Yesterday’s audience was a bit shy. But we made them forget about that and when we came to the rockier songs they couldn’t resist screaming for more 🙂

I think the band did the best performance ever this night. We were really good!

Next week we’ll play again but with another drummer which we never even met…

He’s a stand in for Ari and we hope he’s good! It’ll be interesting to try if we can improvise and make it work. It’s always confusing the first time you play with a new member, especially a drummer…. We have no time for rehearsals so we’ll just go on stage with him. That’s rock’n roll!

This night I played with the coverband No Jive at Grisslinge bar & bisto.

It was the first of six nights there for us i December.

It’s great fun playing there. The guests are always on top and singing and dancing with us from the first song.

We like that a lot.

I a couple of hours I’ll go there again for the second night.

Yesterday I, Lina and Hasse also played some christmas songs in the restaurant. It was very serious and I’m not so good at that… Being serious I mean. But I could avoid making drama of it and I think the guests liked it…

Tonight I’ll wear my new glitter converse. Good for the moves I hink!

The cat i laying on my arms…and refuses to move…

Just saw that Ratcliff Bailey released their third album.

It’s rock with good guitar riffs and I think it’s great!

I don’t like christmas…

And now I feel the christmas panic’s arriving…

It’s so many things I have to do…

No, in fact I don’t have to but my daughters demand it…

Fix the house and garden, by presents to everyone, make christmas tea and gingerbread, candy and “Lussebullar”, Play in the church and plan for the show with my students. This december I’m also busy every friday and Saturday night, playing with the coverband… And I have 325 rewievs to write about my students… (almost thousand pages)

I really don’t know how I’ll make it this year…

So, have I started?

No, I’m creating a christmas song instead…

It must be something wrong with me 🙂

Christmas – Leave me alone ! I haven’t got time for you!

Have to admit I’m a bit proud…

Today we are celebrating “Fathers day” . For the first time in my life I have no one to celebrate…

I used to by pastries and visit my dad on this day…

He was the best father you can imagine…

He was always there for me.

Now he is with me as a spirit and follows me wherever I go….

Instead of celebrating I spent the day with the coverband No Jive.

We are preparing for the weekends in December when we’ll be playing every friday and saturday night at Grisslinge bistro and bar.

Today we rocked and it feels like we’re better than ever.
