Yesterday my audio interface suddenly died…

I tried to reinstall and searched for hours to find the problem…

The computer answered with blue screen…

I give up on this studio now.

I’ll get a new one but it’ll take a while…

And cost me a lot of money…

I was in the middle of the recording of a very interesting song…

Now I’ll spend a couple of weeks painting, writing and gardening.

I feel naked.

Have a lot of music in my head.

Working on a song but don’t know what I want from it yet… 

Waiting for the great ideas. I know they’ll come to me.

I’m a bit worried about the studio.

I think it’s going to crash anytime now…

Blue screen is not a good sign.

…What I would do without music?

I’d paint.

Have a lot of pictures in my head…

Vacation!

I live close to the sea…

Today I spent a couple of hours in the sun. Reading and relaxing on our private beach…

Yes, I own a lot of land… not alone but together with my neighbors I’m the owner of beautiful places and the water…

We own the right to fish and we have our private beach.

I love this place.

This is a piece of paradise.

Yesterday we celebrated – Today we rest…

Tomorrow we celebrate midsummer here in Sweden. We have very special traditions conected to these day. In the morning we drive around in our cars, decorated with flowers and flags, screaming and making so much noise as possible. Then we go home and drink vodka. After that we join the dancing around the giant fallos. My favorite dance is the little frogs. Then we go home to play games and have some drinks before dinmer. The evening always ends with drinks in the neighburs garden. Before bed we pick 7 flowers to put under the pillow.
It never gets dark here in june. Maybe that’s a reason why we turn mad this special night…
It’s crazy and I love it!

It was a shaky end of the spring term. When I read the card the students have made for me I couldn’t hold the tears back. I’ll miss these young friends a lot. We were like family and now it feels like all my children moved out at the same time… all 25. Bu I didn’t say goodbye ’cause I know we’ll meet again…

I hope they’ll like it.

I’m not going to play it live because I don’t trust my voice in such emotional moments…

After the premiere I’ll release the song.

Today we played soccer, teachers against students…

I was dressed up like the famous sheikh Bla Bla. Who von?

I don’t know but it was fun 🙂

Then we watched the 9th grade students play against the teachers. 2-2.

When I got home I watched England – France and right now Sweden Ukraine.

I’ve never seen so much soccer in my whole life before… (actually I don’t like soccer at all )

I’m going to miss  the young boys and girls.

They are my friends.

I hope they will remember their crazy teacher.

One more week, then it’s over…

They are leaving me for new adventures.

We’ve been together every day for six years.

every day… I’ve seen them grow up. I’ve been with them for half of their lives.

This separation is painful, I’m very fond of these girls and boys and I know them so well.

Our friendship is very deep and I know almost everything about them.

I’ll miss them alot.

When life is hard I try to dive deep into the emotion to understand how to deal with the pain.

This is one of these moments…

I made a song to the children that came to me six years ago and now are ready to leave me…

I’ll play it on our last day  and show pictures on the big screen, pictures I collected from our years together.

Yes, I’m going to cry, but that’s ok, we’ll meet again….

She stood there right in front of me. She looked at me with her big blue eyes and I saw that she was trembling.

I was cleaning up in the kitchen, preparing for baking and a couple of girls chose to help me instead of taking a break. I had promised them buns if anyone defeated me in the long jump competition. One of them did…

Suddenly the tears came up in her eyes and she started to cry loudly. She hugged me so hard and whispered “I don’t want to leave you, I don’t want any new teacher”  I was very touched and surprised over this reaction . I hugged her back and the tears burned in my eyes… I didn’t know what to say, so we just stood there and I heard that some of the other girls were crying too.

We have one more week together, one last week after seeing each other every day for six years. Yes it hurts to leave them.

After a while we dried our tears and I said:

This is not goodbye, we’ll meet again.

Then we made 100 vanilla buns.

I’ll never forget that moment.
