I’ve never tried to put clinkers on a floor before…

So today I took the chance to get a new experience 🙂

I’m pretty satisfied!

The afternoon I spent filling container nr. 2.

… I don’t want to think abaout it – but tomorrow I start to work again….

I mean my work at scool…

I have to leave my home (work) and go somwhere else to work…

and noone will do the work in my home… I don’t like!

And tomorrow night I’ll work at a wedding. Playing with the band all night long…

I need a vacation !

I woke up by a thunder….

It was the delivery of a new container…

I dressed up in my “summer clothes”

 and started to drive the wheelbarrow filled with junk…

A couple of hours and the container was half filled.

Then the electician came to measure the heatcable.

It was ok so I started to mix the filler for the floor.

I’m glad I had some help here because it wasn’t so easy to hold the 25 kg sack in one hand and stir with the other…

I finally got use for the skistick 🙂

I also fixed the stair to the terrace today…

But only from one side. The other is much more complicated and have to wait.

Thought I should fix the clinkers tonight but it’s to dark and the filler isn’t dry enough.

I’ll start with that tomorrow morning.

I finish this day with a glass of champagne….

I need some glamour….

and some rock’n roll….

Today I tried some things I’ve never tried before….

Cutting metal for my windows and figuring out how to make them fit…

and I put in a heat cable for the floor and at last understood how to get the cables inside the wall up to the place for the switch….

I also made a little misstake with the panel… and I took the chance to learn from it!

It was a long day 9-23… It’s a pity I don’t get payed….

I’m pretty satisfied with the frame of the window….

I started the day with building  steps to the terrace so that the strong movers could carry the piano into my house…

My parents moved today wich is very sad….

We lived as neighburs for fifteen years and now they have left the house where I grew up….

Then I spent some hours with my lovely daughters.

And I bought material for the floor. Grey ceramic clinkers….

Then I put the floor plaster (is it called that?) in place…

After cleaning up the mess I played on the piano….

Beautiful sound! But I have to practice….

Tomorrow I plan to install the heatcable…. But it depends on the elactrician…..

Cleaned up in the basement….

15 years of shit….

Ordered a container and will fill it up without problems…

6 tons of shit…. I’m glad my back is allright again.

And then I cleaned up and moved som pieces of furniture to make place for the piano…

It’s comming tomorrow.

The fantastic instrument is mine at last!

I love the sound….

You’ll probably hear it in some of my songs in the future 🙂

…Soon I can start with the floor in my new room.

But time is running out… On friday I start work 😦 😦 😦

Haven’t got time for that!

Now I have to work with the rest on my house alone…

Can’t afford the handyman anymore.

So…. I nailed some planks and then my back screamed NO!

…the rest of the day I spent on the couch in backpain….

Tonight we played with the band at the beachparty in the archipelago.

It was raining but in time for the party it stoped.

We payed for an hour and then took the first break….

…And we saw it…. A giant thunderstorm over the sea…

There was no pause between the lightnings, so we hurried back up on stage so we could play some more songs before it hit us… Suddenly the sky opend and the rain was pouring down… The whole place was lightened up by the lightnings…. We had to break and pack our equipment before it drowned….

It was a pity we had to stop but this night we will never forget….

Now it begins to look like something 🙂

Tomorrow the handyman leaves….

The rest is up to me :I

I’ll take two days off and go to Orsa for the music festival.

Me, my cousin, our guitars and voices.

I’ve got a roof 🙂

It was raining cats and dogs the whole day.. but we worked and worked…

At four o’clock we gave up… and so did the rain…:(

My back has been a killer…

Pills, heat, ice, whiskey, lotions, massage….. tried it all.

Today I can walk!

So, no work on the house but two painful gigs with the coverband

No Jive…

Friday: A beer tent on the marketplace in Kallhäll. We rocked and made some new fans and met some old 🙂

Saturday: In the middle of the forest with a wiev over the sea…

– a dancefloor, coloured lanterns and a screaming and dancing audience!

We had great fun and played (again) so we almost missed the ferry….

(No speedlimits on that race…)

I’m stiff as a locked safe but my back is a little better today….

There’s hope. Maybe I can work on the house again tomorrow….
