The door to the rehearsal studio was locked but we solved the problem with a screw driver…

Some of our old songs are very good ones and it’s great fun to play them again.

To sing in Swedish is not so easy, I don’t do that often…

I worked with this one for a long time now.

The hardest part was the mixing. I think I’ve done at least ten different mixes by now.

This one is the best I think.

The lyrics is by Mike Lyzenga who told me he’d got the inspiration reading the paper about a woman who finally had the courage to leave the man who had caused her so much pain for so long time…

I made some changes, ( by permission)  talking about me instead of her, but the lyrics published, is the original.

Many thanks to Mike who writes about such a serious theme. And to all the women treated badly I say – don’t stay – you deserve better! ( I know it’s easy to say but how can I say anything else…)

I hope this song makes justice to the story,

Now we’re planning for new gigs.

ASATRON is working with a new song. Once again lyrics by Mike Lyzenga.

Krakel Zpektakel is planning for party and gig.

The band at work hasn’t got a name yet.

Now I’m obsessed and searching allover internet. When I held him in my arms the world rocked.

We split the band.

It has been hard to find time for rehearsals for six musicians with full time jobs and families. The last gig was this summer at a private party in the archipelago. Since then we have only met a few times…

Here’s some notes from our history:

1/1 209 we started the band.

2010 nine gigs

2011 10 gigs. three weekends in December we were “the band” at Grisslinge bar and bistro.

2012 5 gigs. One of them were at Regeringskansliet / Rosenbad with very high security.

2013 recordings and just a few gigs. New drummer

2014 2 gigs

2015 decided to give up.

The best memory is when we were hired to play at Ejedals arena in Lexand. we had  v.i.p. lounges and a own house to stay the night. We played at three in the morning and started the party in the house at 3.30. We went to bed 9.20 and got u at 9.40. Twenty minutes of sleep…  We had so much fun.

No Jive was an awesome band and I’ll miss it. The best band I ever played in. We played music I never thought a coverband could play, like toto, pink floyd and highway star by Deep Purple.
