ASATRON

I was very impressed to see how the young women took care of the boy who became sick on the bus on our way home this evening. They gave him a trashcan to throw up in and a bottle of water, and talked to his friends and told them not to leave him alone and to help him to arrive home safe. All the other passengers looked the other way. When we got off the bus the friends thanked for the help and promised to bring the boy home. I think that the adults have a lot to learn from the younger generation when it comes to taking care of each other. These young women gave me hope and made me realize that the young people of today are much more caring than the people in my age. Respect!

I’m proud to tell you that these young women are my daughters.

Tired today..

Yesterday I played with the band at a big party in the archipelago of Stockholm. we started with sound check at 14.00. 16.00 I Lina and Hasse brought the acoustic guitars and went to the welcome party in the hosts garden. We played some classical summer songs and then went back to the restaurant for dinner. Then we had a couple of hours waiting for the guests to finish their dinner. at 22.00 we entered the stage and played for three hours. at 02.00 in the morning the equipment was back in the cars and I arrived home at three o’clock.

We had a great sound and we rocked! the guests danced from the first song until the end. Next saturday we play at a private party in the north of Stockholm.

Today we had unplugged rehearsal. On Saturday I’ll play with no Jive at a big private party in the archipelago of Stockholm. In the afternoon I, Lina and Hasse are going to entertain the guests unplugged in the garden. After dinner the whole band will rock the night away…

Yesterday I picked up my new computer for the second time… Now it’s got everything I ordered. I installed it at home and discovered that the new audio interface wasn’t compatible with the computer… So today I returned it and took the opportunity to order some nice effects and instruments. 27 products who will help me to make awesome music I hope… I am very curious about the west African drums and Rammfire. I think I’ll have the products in a couple of days… I feel that I’m entering a new chapter in the story of Asatron…

Found this photo at my mothers place. I don’t know my age but What i do know is that I used to make my own little tunes on the piano.I also loved to listen to opera in the oversized headphones… My grandma once told me that when I was asleep and there was music on, my hands” were dancing to the music”. So, my intrerest in music started early..

Rehearsal today… Just Lina, Hasse and I and two acoustic guitars. We’re going to play unplugged at a summer party so we have to learn some nice songs….  The host wants some Swedish classical summer songs but we couldn’t resist Gershwins summertime… I made a voice memo to remember how we decided to play it, and for my further practice at home… I think we can make something good of this… At least we had fun trying. You can hear our scratching here…. and the bus passing by outside the open balcony door in the hot summer street…
