ASATRON

After watching the film from the gig with Krakel I got inspired to record one of the old songs.

Hearing it was like meeting an old friend. I’d totally forgot this one but it was there, hiding among other diffuse memories from those days. It’s the third song about The Master and Margarita. The lyrics describes the part when Margarita becomes a witch and meets Satan.

So… I recorded the things I remembered…

The more I listen to it, the more I think it’s a possible hit.

Krakel live…

Yesterday we watched the movie from one of the gigs in the eighties.

Not so bad…  Some really good, forgotten songs came back to me.

Earlier this week we started the recordings of the first song for the single. We’re planning to release two or three songs this summer.

Sounds good allready.

I’m almost ready to release a new song with lyrics by Mike Lyzenga.

It’s been a while since the last release.

But now it’s time. This one is a happy tune full of clishes and well known fills. But why not? I like it!

I’m specially satisfied with the clean guitarsound and the way I played the bass. It was fun recording this.

It’s getting harder and harder.

Working with a new idea in the studio but think it sounds like something I all ready did. Or maybe it’s just that I search for something very special and it’s very hard to find.

Right now I have three different recordings of the same idea… Not satisfied with any of them. Probably that means the idea itself isn’t good enough.

Better give up and start all over.

When there’s no flow in creating music, there’s no flow in life… Or maybe it’s the other way…

Last saturday my friends in the band  Patchwork played at Sthlm globe arena. I was there of course. Great musicians and awesome songs!  It was a party to celebrate the derby between Mora and Leksand. I hate hockey but this was different from the Stockholm teams. No fighting. Just nice and friendly and party for twelve hours. Later, after the game, (3-0 to Leksand) Hammerfall entered the stage. I’d never seen them before and was impressed by the energy and professionalism they delivered. I met Joakim before on a stage in Orsa when we suddenly jammed together in the middle of the night…

The last act was Rydell & Quick. I heard the keyboard but no one played keyboards on stage.  I felt cheated.

It was an awesome party but I’m still not a fan of hockey…
