In this song I try to imagine the feeling of being on the run. From violence, from hate or from life itself. When everything falls apart there is still one thing that’s important – Protecting innocence, your child…

Today Lokalbefolkningen started new recordings. The plan is three songs. First out is a hit we gave a total makeover… My opinion is that this is the way it should been played… Rickard nailed the drums directly and Jaak And Patrick kept up the high standard with bass and guitar. I recorded two guitars, lead vocals and choirs. When I left the studio the guitarsolo was almost there. All this in three hours! Which song…? No, I’ll keep that as a secret until it’s ready! But I tell you, it’s worth waiting for!

Yesterday I played with Lokalbefolkningen at Eddys bar.
We had a great time and we nailed the new songs perfectly.
Thanks to all of you who were there and welcomed us with applause and whistles when we entered the bar.
This afternoon I mixed the latest recordings and I Think I got it now…
I fixed a brighter sound to the guitars and edited some of the drum fills.
If I’m still satisfied tomorrow I’ll publish.

After almost 30 years we met again.
Not girls anymore but grown up women with different experiences of life…
We played a lot at clubs in the eighties, only our own material.
Then kids, love and families suddenly were more important and we went different ways.
2014 we met again and recorded two songs from the past. without rehearsal and in December we played live at a party…
The video is from that party. We’d only played together three times before this evening and the ladies haven’t got instruments at home for practicing… I think they did great!
Nowadays we meet regularly playing, having dinner or just have a couple of drinks, I’m very happy about this, these ladies are really good friends and I enjoy hanging out with them. So much laughter…
We’re planning to have a reunion party at the end of the summer, and will invite all the friends from the past…
I look forward to that.

Yesterday I and the band Krakel Zpektakel were invited to a party with musicians to play and jam. After three rehearsals we were ready to play two of our old hits. We were a bit nervous and we had to explain to the audience that three of us haven’t even got instruments for practicing. After the circumstances I think we did a great job! The ladies can deliver.
Two other bands also played a couple of songs and then we started to play in mixed constellations. I joined the jam in Highway to hell, comfortably numb, Du hast, Wish you were here, Baby love, Still got the blues, Sweet home Alabama and The wall…
It was great fun and I’m so impressed by the awesome musicians.

Recieved a message today. It was from the director of westfield recording company, Ken Bailey. He has included so many of my songs in his shows. I think the podcasters are making a very important work for unsigned artists. By playing our music in their shows they help us to get our music heard.
