When I don’t create music I have to find other ways to express myself.
Tonight I made a self portrait…
How many faces can you see?

Here’s a detail:

I told you about the crazy street music festival, didn’t I….
Every Wednesday in July The small village Orsa turns to a big party for musicians. I’ve been there three times now and I love to play with people I never met before in the streets, restaurants, beer tents and later at night at the hotel stage. I found this video on youtube and think it shows very well how fun it is. And, yes you can see me and my cousin if you look carefully. It’s strange… Orsa is 370 km away from where I live and has 7000 citizens, but every time I go there I meet someone I know. The people who live there are incredible friendly and crazy, and there are so many awesome musicians. See for yourself 🙂
This video’s from 2010
I have so many stories to tell about this festival… I strongly recommend you to go there.

About Delirious
Delirious is a song about hallucinations.
I suffer from migraine and have some strong painkillers. If I take just a little too much of these I start hallucinate. The first thing that happens is that I hear a specific sound. It’s like the sound from a whiplash. I managed to recreate that sound in this song. It’s the first thing you hear… Then it goes on with voices… People talk to me but no one is there. You can hear them in the softer part… This part is also a try to describe the wonderful feeling when the pain eases but the peaks are still there to disturb…Then I feel things. I can feel the cat laying on my stomach but when I’m about to scratch him he’s not there. I also see things. Small needles for example. Made of gold… and faces…
It’s a bit scary and I don’t like it but it’s necessary to medicate to avoid the terrible pain. If you are one of us with this disease you know what I’m talking about. The refrain tries to convey the feeling of confusion mixed with fear and relief. It’s also a lame cry for help from a brain pierced by a glowing spear…
So, this song is about painkilling and the side effects of medication. Yes, I’m sometimes on drugs, but on doctors’ order…
And… I recorded an electric drill to make a noise like tinnitus…
And the artwork is a picture I made many, many years ago, in school actually. I found it when my parents sold their house two years ago.
So, now you know a few things about this song…

Returned my computer yesterday. I hope they’ll fix it quickly. I’m frustrated… I need my studio. I need to be creative and music’s my way…
some people write, others paint, cook or dance… I make music. Right now I feel restless.I hate cooking, haven’t got the patience for writing and are worthless when it comes to dance. I long for the rainy days in the studio… I’m in the middle of a very interesting song and I want to finish it. I’ve got so many ideas…
By the way. You can join my mail list if you want. Then you’ll receive information about new releases and other stuff before everyone else… If you like that just follow the link:
You can also send me questions if you want. I promise to answer.
about cooking… It’s true. I hate it. I’ve got a problem with my hands… some kind of phobia. I panic when I get food on my hands. It’s so disgusting… worst of all is vanilla ice cream. I never buy vanilla ice cream to avoid the risk of getting it on my hands. Maybe you think I suffer from mental illness… and maybe you’re right. But aren’t we all a little bit crazy? Just in different ways…
Some people cook – I make music!

I’m home again after the trip to the crazy street music festival in Orsa. I went there with my acoustic guitar and met my cousin and the band Funatics. We walked around in the streets and played with people we’d never met before. I’s great fun and a lot of great musicians. People are so friendly and nice in that place. This was the third time for me and I made a couple of really good friends there now… I just lived for the minute and great music was created… It’s a very special experience for me because in Stockholm such things are impossible… If I joined a band here in the capital of Sweden I would probably get in huge trouble… Here ” mine is mine, and yours are yours”… Trespass is not accepted. That’s why I love this crazy street music festival. …and the beer’s cheep 🙂
Here’s a pic of the band Funatics which I had the privilege to jam with. Great musicians.

I’ll also thank my cousin and the fantastic double-bass player for the music and party!

I ordered a new computer, an audio interface and cubase 6.5.
I’ll build up a brand new studio.
This is going t take a while but I hope I’ll deliver some new music by the end of the summer.
I also have to buy some new plug-ins but can’t afford everything at the same time…
It’s very frustrating to have all these ideas in my head and no equipment to record them.
I’m spending the rainy days writing, painting and working in my garden.
and waiting…
